Weddings are the joyous part of my role as a celebrant. Your wedding is a huge occasion, it’s your BIG DAY. It has to be right, just what you want. There’s a lot of planning involved, lots of details but don’t leave the selection of a celebrant until the last moment. Do it as soon as you discuss the date and venue with your partner. Couples often book me 12 months out.
After the first contact, usually an email or phone call, I like to try and meet the couple so we can ‘check each other out’ before they make the final decision to have me as their celebrant. If they like me, then there’s a client contract to fill out and a deposit that secures the day for them. After that, there are a series of planning meetings, lots of help and advice, working towards a final approved ceremony script in the couple of weeks before the wedding. With all that preparation I aim to make your special day a relaxed, stress free and memorable occasion where you can just “be in the moment”. And my wrap around service doesn’t end on your wedding day.
